CB LoRA v3 — bare-minimum-clothing prompts against v2 LoRA
What this run is
v3 = bare-minimum-clothing prompts rendered against the v2-trained LoRA (no re-training, inference only).
The point: v1/v2 used catalog-outfit prompts (white tank + grey shorts, etc.) — wrong for the architectural arc, because outfits are applied DOWNSTREAM by the FASHN tryon pipeline. The LoRA's job is just to render identity + body in a clean replaceable baseline. v3 fixes the prompts to bare-minimum (fitted black bodysuit / sports bra / shorts).
Same 6-cell matrix shape (3 prompts × 2 seeds 42/7301), same v2 LoRA, same identity reference.
Important caveat: v2 LoRA was judged REJECT due to overfit (Q2 pose 17%, Q3 framing 17%, Q4 photographic 50%). v3's outputs inherit that overfit, so v3 verdict will likely also flag Q2/Q3/Q4. The data still tells us whether the bare-min PROMPTS produce parseable outputs that FASHN could consume — separate from whether the LoRA itself is overfit.
Verdict reasoning
IN-FLIGHT. Judge running. Operational bar same as the parent goal: per-cell Q1 ≥ 0.7 AND Q4 ≥ 0.7, aggregate Q1 ≥ 95% AND Q4 ≥ 90%, no cell with Q1 < 0.3.
If v3 also fails like v2 → the LoRA overfit dominates; next probe is a v4 with moderate hyperparams (e.g. 3000 steps, rank 48) and bare-min prompts together.
How to continue this work
in the labs channel: train a v4 LoRA with moderate hyperparams (steps=3000, rank=48)
on the same CB fixture, then run inference with the bare-minimum prompts (fitted black
bodysuit / sports bra / shorts). Judge against the customer bar. Cost ~$6 + $0.55.
in the labs channel: pipe the v3 outputs through Magnific photorealistic upscale and
re-judge for Q4 only. Tests whether upscaling can bridge the AI-plastic gap.

Inputs
Reuses v2 trained LoRA (thor-reef/ikatomi-cb-fixture-lora-v2:74854c75…a24a). No re-training. Reference image for identity judge: inputs/lora-cb-fixture/cb_4.jpg.
Notes / gotchas
- One inference cell (front-full-S7301) took 281s instead of ~17s — Replicate hit a slow slot. Total wall clock ~6 min instead of expected ~2 min. No impact on results.
- v3's stdout log buffer stalled after cell 2 (Python buffering quirk; ps showed process alive, Replicate showed predictions succeeding, disk showed files appearing). Confirmed all 6 cells landed by inspecting filesystem after script exited.

- REJECT — BOTH gates failed: Q1 (identity) 67% and Q4 (photographic) 17% below 80%. Identity drift AND AI-plastic look. Options: more training steps, higher lora_rank, more fixture photos, then re-run + judge.
